The house is surrounded by a spacious garden and is perched atop a hill above the village of Motta Camastra, an authentic Sicilian village “hanging” on the mountainside. This house is ideal for those seeking tranquility, space, and privacy in a natural setting with stunning views of Mount Etna and the Alcantara Valley.
Descending the hill, you will find yourself in the middle of the Alcantara Valley, surrounded by charming Sicilian towns. The beach at Giardini Naxos is less than a 30-minute drive away. During your stay, we recommend visiting Mount Etna and/or the Gole dell’Alcantara.

Casa and Surroundings

The house is fully equipped, featuring: A spacious kitchen with a dining area, a large bathroom, a cozy conservatory with lounge chairs and an additional dining area. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, plus an extra single bed. Bed, bath and kitchen linens are provided in ample supply. Enjoy your breakfast on the sunny terrace in front of the house, on the balcony, or at the poolside terrace. Outside, you will find a barbecue and pizza oven. A large sunshade ensures comfortable outdoor seating even on warmer days. Parking is also plentiful. From the house, you can walk straight into the mountains. Several hiking trails are mapped out, some of which pass right by the house. You will be welcomed by the property manager, who will be your point of contact during your stay. The manager speaks English and Italian. If needed, the owner of Casa Motta Camastra is also available.
